Graham Barker attended a garden party to celebrate the first anniversary of Turning Point in Slough on 3rd August. Turning Point is a social enterprise, focused on improving lives and communities. Any surplus profit is used to provide the best services in the right locations for those that need most, across mental health, learning disability, substance misuse and employment.
The event celebrated the fact that, during its first year, 141 people have been successfully helped to tackle substance misuse and addiction. Graham praised the success of Turning Point and in particular the way in which it works in co-operation with other agencies and he thanked the many volunteers who are such a vital part of their success.
